QotD: The Perfect Crime

What was the last thing you "got away with?"

I got into work quite late on Thursday and leisurely opened my email box to find that I was required to deliver a presentation to a high level delegation from Korea in just two hours time (the email wasn't even marked high priority or anything so it wasn't evne the first one I read).  Panic stations!  Fortunately someone else had prepared the slides for me but still wasn't really my area of expertise.  Having left home in a hurry, I wasn't even really dressed for the part so had to rush around the office to try and locate a jacket that would fit me.  Fortunately someone in another area had one that not only fit but matched the rest of my clothes.  I got back to my desk and read the email a little more closely and saw that not only would I be presenting to the Koreans but to a very famous retired politician who was to be escorting them!  Fortunately, the delegation were not overly interested in the topic I was presenting on so didn't ask any curly questions (which I probably couldn't have answered) so managed to get away with it.  The jacket also looked like it belonged with my pants and my hair was actually behaving itself for a change.  Definitely a case of flying by the seat of my pants and getting away with it!
