[this is good]

I was 236 pounds when I went in with Jeremiah 6 years ago. Today I am 160..lighter than my senior year of High School! This post is all too true!

[this is good]

I have saved this to follow up on later!

I am 40yo and have two children, 9yo and 5yo.

I was the thinnest I had been in about a decade within 12-18 months of my first child's birth. Unfortunately this was almost 100% attributable to breast feeding and every time I dropped a feed, I would gain a few kilos back. What I found particularly hard was combining exercise with work and being a mother to two young children.

About 9 years (!) on, I have finally managed to strike a good balance by leaving the car at home most days and walking to the train station from where I catch my train into work (this is a very steep 15 min walk each way). I also do one 90min yoga class early on Sat morning and one 60min pilates class on Wednesdays at lunchtime. This is less than the recommended amount of aerobic exercise but, along with a good diet, it really does seem to be delivering results. The other good thing about it is that it is actually ACHIEVABLE so I have been able to make it a habit rather than something I have to force myself to do. Will also look at adding in some of those suggestions in this post, eg, maybe this would be good to do after the kids are in bed in the evening.
